Mr. Christopher "Chris" K. Franklin of Arcadia, Oklahoma, is co-founder of a commercial
real estate investment, development, construction, and property management company
with a focus on small to mid-sized towns in Oklahoma. He is also the manager of a
diversified farming and ranching operation in central Oklahoma with a cow-calf operation
and preconditioning yard, and a farming operation that includes small grains, row
crops, and hay production. Mr. Franklin holds a B.S. in Economics with minors in English
and Finance. He is an active member of his church and serves on several boards for
local businesses/organizations that emphasize family values and quality education
for children. He is married to Melissa Franklin and they have two sons.
Chris Franklin was appointed to serve as a member of the A&M Board of Regents by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt in March 2024, and his appointment was confirmed by the Senate on May 29, 2024. Mr. Franklin will complete the unexpired term of the late Regent Jarold Callahan, which will expire on April 4, 2026.
