POSITION NO. 5

Mr. Christopher "Chris" K. Franklin of Arcadia, Oklahoma, is co-founder of a commercial real estate investment, development, construction, and property management companies with a focus on small to mid-sized towns in Oklahoma. He is also the manager of a diversified farming and ranching operation in eastern Logan and Oklahoma County with a cow-calf operation, a farming operation consisting of small grains, row crops, hay production and a preconditioning yard.  He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Economics, with a minor in English and Finance. He sits on the board of the M&P Foundation, Valor Bank and Oklahoma Christian Schools and is a member of Farm Bureau and the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association. He is actively involved in Henderson Hills Baptist Church. He is married to Melissa Franklin and they have two sons.

Chris Franklin was appointed to serve as a member of the A&M Board of Regents by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt in March 2024, and his appointment was confirmed by the Senate on May 29, 2024. Mr. Franklin will complete the unexpired term of the late Regent Jarold Callahan, which will expire on April 4, 2026.
