Ms. Kristi Ice
Kristi Ice began serving as Chief Executive Officer of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents on April 1, 2026. In this role, she oversees the daily operations of the Board’s offices and serves as Secretary to the Board. She also serves as a non-voting, ex-officio member of the Board and all Board committees.
Kristi is a seasoned Oklahoma public servant and attorney with more than two decades of experience in state government, policy, and law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law.
She began her career as a Policy Analyst for the OSU/A&M Board of Regents before joining the administration of Governor Brad Henry, where she served as Director of Appointments and later as Director of Policy. In those roles, she helped shape the governor’s legislative and policy agenda throughout both terms of his administration.
Kristi later joined the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System, where she spent more than thirteen years in progressively senior legal and legislative roles. Serving as Assistant General Counsel and Legislative Director, and later as General Counsel, she provided legal oversight for one of the state’s largest public pension systems and helped guide its legislative strategy during a period of heightened focus on public retirement policy in Oklahoma.
In 2024, she served as Deputy General Counsel in the Office of the Oklahoma Attorney General before becoming Deputy Director of the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, where she helped oversee the state’s regulatory processes for physician and allied professional licensing and discipline.
Kristi’s career reflects a longstanding commitment to public service and the State of Oklahoma.
