The Board of Regents for Oklahoma State University and the Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges provides monetary support for the Victim Advocates in their important work to support students seeking advocacy assistance. The Victim Advocates report quarterly to the Board of Regents on statistical trends of incidents.
The Board and its institutions treat the Victim Advocates as confidential reporting options. Victims can visit with the Victim Advocate to learn about resources available on their campus and in their local community. The Victim Advocate is not required to report any information about an incident to the Title IX Coordinator without a victim’s permission. The victim advocate is required by federal law to report incidents, without personally identifiable information, for the purpose of the institutions’ Clery Act compliance.
