Construction Change Orders

2.11

A construction change order may be appropriate when a Design/Bid/Build method of project delivery is utilized when unknown or unforeseen circumstances or conditions cause a necessary change in the performance of the project.  Such change order may, or may not, cause a change in the scope of work to be performed.  The President, or his/her designee, of each institution under the governance of the Board is authorized to approve construction change orders within budgetary and statutory limits, whichever is less, with the stipulation that the reporting of all construction change orders be made to the Board.
